General/Background/Family:
I'm a 31 year-old, Maine girl, who loves all things related to books, movies, crafts, writing, the outdoors, and family. The picture above is of my and my Allie Cakes. She's got a bit more hair than that now, but she still has that giraffe hanging from her lips most of the time. That giraffe's name is Henry and he and Allie are bff's. My bff, besides Allie, is my husband Randy. A while back one of my good friends nicknamed him Randsome (that's a combo of Handsome and Randy) and that's probably how I will refer to him in most of my posts.
Randsome and I grew up in the same town, attended the same high school and college, and then moved to the same city. At no point during this time did he know that I was alive. Well, not true really because he and my older sister were in the same graduating class in high school, so he knew of me (they were seniors when I was a freshmen). But, he had no idea that I thought he was dreamy, or that I had a thing for red heads (which he was when he had more hair, and it wasn't turning gray). Those last two things seemed to have happened when he met me. Sorry Babe! He and I completed our little family circle when Cakes joined us in 2012. Oh, and I have to brag about my kid and say that Allie is also a ginger. Her friends will be so jealous of her auburn curls someday.
